Hotel Mexico’s debut album His Jewelled Letter Box hits stores today, and if you aren’t convinced by the hype to get it, maybe one more new song will. “Do You Do You HAIA” should probably be one of chillwave proponents first examples when claiming Ariel Pink somehow birthed the genre, with the caveat that this has more synth noises. It’s also engrossing, more so than a lot of this sorta stoned-out music. Listen here.
