Let’s start the week with something we dropped the ball on totally. This new song from Occult You (a side-project from one of Japan’s finest music makers today Taquwami) came out nearly two weeks ago, and is a solid groover. It takes cues from a song the Occult You project released a couple years back, the bouncy retro-pop “Cassette Girl (Minami).” He’s building from ideas first expressed their, but now he’s slowed it down a wink and the whole thing sounds more blown out.
