New Sapphire Slows: “Break Control”

Lot of good stuff going on for Tokyo’s Sapphire Slows right now. She just wrapped up a small tour of the United States, and in May she will take part in a live event in Tokyo alongside CUZ ME PAIN artists Jesse Ruins and Faron Square, along with Kyoto group (and Double Denim signee) Hotel Mexico. Between all that, she’s also released a new song. “Break Control” appears on CUZ ME PAIN’s second compilation, and finds the young producer in top form. “Break Control” sounds glassier than anything on last year’s True Breath, though Slows’ signature vocal wisps still glide through the track.
