New Yunomi And Nicamoq: “Indoor Kei Nara Trackmaker”

Look, I’m not sure I have anything fresh to say about Yunomi or Nicamoq…let alone Yunomi and Nicamoq…as the producer releases songs at a quick pace, and they are always the same hyper-colorful, high-level quality. “Indoor Kei Nara Trackmaker” is the latest bit of cuddly EDM-pop the pair have created, and just the latest argument that they should put together a compilation. So let’s focus on another angle which…this is the latest song to emerge from a relatively new Japanese producer that celebrates the process of making music, and music itself. Lyrically, a large chunk of this song is shouting out styles of electronic music, among other things. Similar to Native Rapper’s “Track Maker,” “Indoor Kei Nara Trackmaker” is partially an artist who has emerged in the wake of the netlabel scene creating something of an ode to it (the biggest homage: the music itself). It’s too young to be nostalgia, but interesting nonetheless. Listen above.
