It has been a banner year for bedroom recording artists, with the rise of artists like Little Boots, Wavves and Dum Dum Girls. Tokyo’s She Talks Silence, who isn’t shy about her bedroom recording space on MySpace, adds another name to that list. Unlike a lot of other lo-fi acts in 2009, She Talks Silence doesn’t drown her songs in scuzz, opting instead to let them linger in all of their sparse beauty. MySpace standouts include “Quiet Sun,” “Again & Again” and the jittery new wavey “Complexe Elegant.” She Talks Silence debut 7″ single for “Quiet Sun” recently dropped, so if you stumble across it somewhere in Japan, pick it up.
