New Baroque: “Leyline/It Doesn’t Come Off”
Tokyo electro-banger Baroque has two new tracks running over on his MySpace. “Leyline” kicks off with a steady drum workout before busting out dentist-drill squeals. It all comes together to form a solid piece of piston-strong dance. B-side wins the day though: “It Doesn’t Come Off” takes some funky guitar and pulverizes it with noise….
Baroque: “Down/Midnight Muscle”
Tokyo-based DJ Baroque’s first single “Down/Midnight Muscle” drops Oct. 30. The two tracks are available now on his MySpace page, though. “Down” skitters all around, while “Midnight Muscle” sticks to a rather, ahem, muscular beat during its run time. A pair of good dance tracks to start your week off right.
