Last week I ate lunch with some of the students I teach. We talked about Japanese music and then the topic changed to the kids telling me the American musical groups they knew. The first artist out of there mouths? The Backstreet Boys. They all loved the Backstreet Boys. And High School Musical, but that’s a whole different story.
Japan still goes bonkers over the boy band most of America managed to grow out of, and a recent news report gives us a glance at Backstreet Boy fans in this country. Watch the video below, but also read the post Japan Probe did about it to kinda understand what’s going on.
