Trying to properly sum up the career of Osaka’s Satanicpornocultshop (really) from the beginning is akin to explaining String Theory to an especially uninterested canary. So, all you really need to know going into solid-introduction “Segare” is they’ve been doing this since 1998 and have released a lot of albums and EPs. This new track sums up the outfit’s pastiche style, slicing up elements from all sorts of genres, particularly hip-hop, into a hyper-speed creation that doesn’t really sound like any of the source inspiration. Also, the vocal sample reminds me of a Das Racist song. Just jump in, don’t think about it and listen below.
