New Quarta 330: Mokelembembe EP

Producer Quarta 330 recently released a new EP via netlabel Sabacan Records, the first from the Hyperdub-affiliated artist in a bit. And it is a very welcome return, especially for those seeking a little calm from their burbling electronic songs. Opening track “Otome Landscape” is pure easygoing fair, a spacious keyboard number on the woozy side, but in an “afternoon nap” sorta way. The rest of Mokelembembe is equally laid back, even busier inclusions such as “Yoiyami” still ultimately feeling relaxing instead of frantic. Get it here, or listen below.

  • Glowing Corners: Sakasa’s Coin Bender EP

Let your body dance, and let your brain dance more,” と説明されるこの三曲入りEPからは、名古屋のHouse Of Tapesとも共通点を感じます。
