Based on the relative newness and sparseness of Summer Guitar Camp, I don’t think it’s too ridiculous to speculate this artist/band might just exist to write a perfect summer jam. Like an old NBA player turning into a mercenary and signing up for one more year exclusively to nab a ring (Karl Malone?), Summer Guitar Camp could have come together just to write this harmonica-heavy bit of breezy indie-pop hoping it could bust out as the summer indie-pop jam of 2010. Don’t know if it’s that good, but Summer Guitar Camp have made a really catchy slice of kinda country indie-pop worth three minutes of your day. Listen while the weather is still good.
