DJ Amps’ “Don’t U Know” is an emotional affair. It’s also a very dance-friendly number, complete with passages touching on juke and jungle and even a tiny slice of what could be considered “future bass” based on your definition of that term. Yet the central vocal sample drifting throughout the shifty affair gives this a deeply melancholy vibe, one that doesn’t stop any movement but certainly makes you do some internal double takes.
