New Moscow Club: “Pacific 724”

Moscow Club must have a big folder labelled “summer music” somewhere on there computer, and want to clear it out before September creeps onto the calendar. Here’s the band’s latest, the instrumental “Pacific 724,” another rocket-pop of August-worthy music. Over the past month, Moscow Club have shown they can navigate subtly between styles, whether it be hazy dream-pop like on the “Daisy Miller” series or something approaching chillwave on “Echo Beach.” “Pacific 724” seems reminiscent of Swedish sea-side groups like The Embassy or even The Tough Alliance (that duo’s “Miami” resembles “Pacific 724″ in spots).
