New Nites: “Moments Like This Fruit”
CUZ ME PAIN clearly haven’t been letting the summer heat/humidity combo get to their productivity. First :visited had some new works for the world, and now the Nites project reappears with the interestingly titled “Moments Like This Fruit.” What type of fruit you ask…I’m picturing biting into a big juicy apple on an especially warm day. “Fruit” continues the label’s run of synth-based music, but whereas the Jesse Ruins project (both it and Nites are the works of the same guy, read all about it) occupies the cerebral, Nites concerns himself with the physical. This is an unabashed dance track, sprinkled with CUZ ME PAIN signifiers like ghostly samples, but mostly concerned about very real-world movement. Listen below.
