Very Flau Wednesday: New Cuushe And New M/D/G

We are officially back from SXSW and, more or less, recovered from the experience. Coupled with other ~big changes~, let’s try to get back on track.

Lots of new stuff incoming from Flau in the last week. Today, one of their finest artists, the dream-pop-leaning Cuushe, shared another track from her forthcoming Night Lines EP, this one titled “Daze.” Listen to it above.

A little earlier, M/D/G (Kyoto producer Madegg and his latest name), released a self-titled collection. It features some thumping, at times disorienting, cuts, a few of which we’ve written up before, but are now gathered together in one place. You can buy it here, or listen below.

  • The Blonde Plastic Wagon/ Bugy Craxone: “Touch & Go!!”/”Perfect”

Despite the title, The Blonde Plastic Wagon’s “Touch & Go!!” sounds like no band to ever grace the Touch & Go label. Well, maybe a little bit like Ted Leo, but that’s it. “Touch & Go!!” has more in common with modern-day indie-guitar groups like Los Campesinos!, as lead singer Nobuo Sinohara boasts a higher-pitched…

  • New Boys Age: Else

Boys Age’s proper debut album STILL hasn’t arrived in stores (that’s next week), yet the duo just keep on pumping out music. It remains their most intriguing aspect and the one that makes them so very hard to really sum up (though when they put out a best-of comp, it is vital). Well, that and…

  • Pitch Shifted: Winona Hyper’s “Promise”
