Seeing as I’m new to this Japanese music world, I hope you’ll forgive me for hyping up an artist whose latest album came out back in May. 80kidz are an electronic trio making music in the Kitsune/Ed Banger style, but often more poppy than hard. There album This Is My Shit never sags over its hour-plus run time. Check the poptastic standout track “Getting You Off” below, featuring Chicago electro duo Hey Champ on vocals.
