New PellyColo: “Scholar”

Oh PellyColo, you flatter us too much:

“He always dreamed to be a better man/but no one tells him what is good or bad/avoiding critics is the easy way out/the ones who judge you are a clever man.”

Beyond this nice little shout out to all the music critics out there, producer/player PellyColo’s newest song “Scholar” is a smooth bit of throwback pop that is far too shuffly to post in the morning (hence the Sunday night post, two highballs down). This ’80s sound is popular all over, but PellyColo does it way better than most. Listen above, or get it here.

  • New CRZKNY: Seventeen Lost Souls UPDATED

UPDATE: Well, turns out Seventeen Lost Souls ISN’T online any longer. Bummer. But CRZKNY did upload a new song to celebrate 2013 called “Tornado Alley” which would have fit in lovely on that album. Listen to it…and download it…here.
