Did ya know MTV turned 30 this week? A little bit of pointless trivia as we introduce two music videos that premiered this week. First up, indie-poppers andymori decided to go hippie, hopping in a van and flailing balloons around for the “Sunrise & Sunset” clip. Watch below. It’s nothing special – at least do something funny with the cows, that’s comedy gold!…but it at least highlights one of the more solid songs from that trio’s latest LP, a bit of sunny guitar hand-holding that might not be long-term but feels nice for the time being.

A bit more sinister in sound is Miila And The Geeks’ “Superhero,” a great blast of creepiness due to appear on that trio’s New Age album, out in late August. The accompanying video is pretty low-budget – the band stands in a backyard in Austin, Texas (presumably when they visited this year’s South By Southwest) gyrating about and generally being sorta strange. Watch below.
