New Kosmo Kat: “Toki Ga Kinai Kotoba”
I have a really shitty body fever right now, the sort of thing that makes you move at half speed and feel like you are covered in Icy Hot patches. Tokyo-based producer Kosmo Kat’s newest song works surprisingly well given the circumstances…I feel like my soul has dripped out through my nose, and his woozy electronic music coupled with the dramatic singing makes me feel like I’m having an out of body experience and watching a really dramatic cinematic climax play out in my head. These flu pills sure aren’t helping me think clearly, but it does make this sound extra thrilling. It is the first full song from Kosmo Kat’s forthcoming EP, out on May 20. Listen above.
