Bedroom musician The Bed Town went away for a long stretch of time, but this summer he announced he was back with some new material (and a scattering of live shows). One of those fresh songs is “Kizuato,” a plinky-plonky number that offers a sparse backdrop for The Bed Town to sing over. His voice isn’t necessarily the greatest you’ll hear, but he’s good at getting drama out of his words, especially as the song skips ahead. And he fits in a smidgen of unease into it all — several just-audible voices swoop around the last half of the song, and a sorta digi-scream even pops up. Listen above.
