He’s gaga for Gaga: Hoshina Anniversary Remixes Lady Gaga’s “Telephone”
Man, the guy behind Hoshina Anniversary really likes his Gaga. He’s already remixed “Pokerface” and “Just Dance,” and now he takes his scalpel to the Beyonce-toting single “Telephone.” I had never listened to the song before (to save Gaga face, “Bad Romance” has become my karaoke song of choice. That intro is epic), but a few notable difference pop up between the two. Hoshina ditches the goofy faux-sentimental intro, opting instead to dive headfirst into the club. He also smothers Gaga’s verses with fuzzy beats, turning her voice and Beyonce’s (who, for the record, reminds me a lot of Fergie on the original) into far off murmurs. It’s kinda just a louder version of “Telephone” but also highly danceable. Now, get cracking on the “LoveGame” rework.
