New Lovely Summer Chan And Yoshino Yoshikawa: Yoshi Yoshi, Summer
Singer Lovely Summer Chan and producer Yoshino Yoshikawa have made for a great team over the last few years, the two collaborating on various songs and an EP for Maltine Records. They’ve gathered some of the highlights from this partnership…along with a few fresh cuts…and released an album of material called Yoshi Yoshi, Summer. The old and new numbers both rely on similar approaches — Yoshikawa creates a bubbly track that never overwhelms (considering he is a big backer of “ultrapop,” it is a bit surprising to see how much he gets out of space here) and lets Lovely Summer Chan’s voice take the main position.
